The design process
Five phases from first conversation to final reveal
Discovery
We meet on-site or over Zoom. Cecilia walks through your space, asks about your daily routines, measures the room, and photographs the light at different times. You share what works, what frustrates you, and any references that resonate -- not to copy them, but to understand your instincts.
Spatial planning and concept
Based on the discovery, Cecilia develops the spatial planning and design concept: layout optimization, color palette, mood, and material direction. This is presented through material boards and initial 3D renders. You see where the project is heading before any money is spent.
Specification and procurement
The concept is refined into detailed specifications. Every piece of furniture, every finish, every fixture is selected and documented. Updated 3D renders show exactly how each space will look. We manage procurement -- sourcing, ordering, tracking deliveries.
Implementation and coordination
When the project requires construction or remodeling, we coordinate with our network of contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals in Miami. We supervise the execution to ensure that every detail faithfully reflects the design vision.
Final decoration and reveal
The final layer: accessories, art, textiles, and styling details. Cecilia completes the space and walks you through every choice. This is the moment the room becomes yours -- because you recognize the life you described now has a physical form.

- Do you handle construction or remodeling?
- We are a specialized design studio. We have a network of contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals in Miami with whom we collaborate when the project requires structural interventions or remodeling. We coordinate and supervise the implementation, ensuring that every stage of the work respects the design vision and standards.
- What do you receive at the end of the project?
- At the end of the process you will receive a professional PDF document that includes: detailed technical floor plans (floor plans and wall elevations), a complete shopping list with all project elements, material and finish specifications, and renders to visualize the final result of the space. This document works as a clear guide to execute the design with precision.
- Will the final result match the 3D renders?
- That is the entire purpose of the renders: to show you what the space will look like before work begins. While minor variations can occur with natural materials -- a stone slab may have slightly different veining, for example -- the overall design, proportions, and feeling will match what you approved. This is also why we include revision rounds before implementation.
- Can you work on projects outside of Miami?
- Yes. While most of our work is in the Miami area, we offer remote design services for clients in other locations. The discovery and concept phases happen over Zoom and high-quality photos of your space. For implementation, we can either coordinate remotely with local contractors or recommend on-site oversight depending on the project scope.
